Big Bang Customs was started in 1998 by Husband and Wife Alan & Kenitha Proctor. After spending several years in the industry they decided it was time to give the textile community what it sorely lacked, a screen printing & embroidery operation that schedules properly, offers exceptional quality, and meets deadlines every time. This business was built around the simple belief that hard work and treating customers right will lead to success.
Big Bang Customs' constant strive to be at the forefront of the industry has lead them to purchase the best equipment the industry has to offer. All of the equipment used in our screen printing facility is manufactured by Brown. They are the industry leader in textile printing equipment and that’s what our customers deserve.
Our shop includes one 8 head Brown Manual press which delivers very detailed, consistent, high quality prints. With this machine we can easily print over 1,000 garments a day.
What good is a print if it comes off in the wash? Our 20ft Brown Radicure Dryer ensures all ink is cured to stay on the garment for years to come.
We’ve handpicked our favorite inks from industry leading manufacturers One Stroke & Textile.
Not only do we use the best equipment, we only employee industry professionals. Our staff has the experience and the desire to give you a product that you can be proud of.
We’ve made it our mission to provide our customers with a great product at a fair price and delivered on time. We’re truly passionate about what we do. Trust us with your business and you won’t be disappointed!

In the heart of Kentucky’s Bluegrass Region, is Boone Creek Creamery where we create handmade artisan cheeses such as Abbey Road Cheese, Blackberry Serenade Cheese, Butterkase Cheese, Buttermilk Cheddar Cheese, Caerphilly Cheese, French Cheddar Cheese, Ginger Rhapsody Cheese, Gruyere Cheese, Jerk Cheddar Cheese, Kentucky Cheese, Kentucky Derby Cheese, Lexington Cheese, Mama Mia Cheese, Sassy Redhead Cheese, Scandinavian Grilling Cheese, Smokey Mountain Cheese, Tuscan Sun Cheese, Wensleydale Cheese, and Wildcat Blue Cheese. We believe that hand-making cheese creates a richer, more complex flavor so we use old world European techniques to protect the delicate curds. We use only the best Kentucky Proud milk from cows that graze on nutrient rich grasses as nature intended—free of antibiotics, hormones and steroids. Come in for a tour of our cheese making facility and taste for yourself why Boone Creek Creamery is howlin’ good.

Wild Fig Books and Coffee was founded by Kentucky writer Crystal Wilkinson and her partner Ronald Davis in the Meadowthorpe area of Lexington before closing there in 2015. They reopened later that year in a renovated turn-of-the-century house on North Limestone. It was and remains the only black-owned bookstore in Kentucky.
In 2018, Crystal and Ron announced that they would be closing the store due to financial difficulties. However, the community so had come to love the space stepped up to save it. The bookstore was sold to a quickly formed “Wild Fig Cooperative” in 2018 and is a safe, sacred space within the walls of the bookstore that carries a legacy of an inclusive, grounding space where community members find their voice and collective vision. We have a variety of offerings, from co-working space to food specials, open mic nights, poetry readings, Drag Queen Storytimes, small concerts, and, of course, books!
