Proper Plants, INC is a spring oriented retail/wholesale greenhouse on Military Pike in Lexington, Kentucky. Owned by Russ and Lyn Madison, we have been a family business since 1977 and only sell what we grow. We pride ourselves on our quality and selection. Proper Plants sells retail to the public in addition to supplying some of the garden centers and landscapers in Lexington and the surrounding counties. We grow plants for Transylvania and Kentucky State University, as well as horse farms, commercial businesses, neighborhood associations and the like. We fully support the concept that locally run businesses greatly increase the value of a city or county.
