La Percha Designs took flight in the summer of 2010, when I was looking for a healthy distraction from writing my dissertation. as a lifelong doodler and lover of whimsy, I decided to put my funky, intricate designs to the test and started screen printing them on t-shirts, totes and thank-you notes – basically anything stationary enough to be printed.

Since then, David (my fiance and business partner) and I have had a whole lot of fun growing La Percha Designs out of our home base in Lexington, Kentucky; and I have even managed to finish my dissertation.
